Commander Roster Moves: An elevated player from the practice squad

Washington Commanders elevate WR Robbie Chosen from the practice squad. This is the second elevation for Chosen since signing with the team on October 1. Washington didn’t bring up any defensive backs despite having safeties Quan Martin and Tyler Owens questionable due to hamstring injuries. The Detroit Lions are visiting this week.

Treylon Burks and Sheldon Day were elevated to the practice squad last week, and they were both placed on the 53-man roster this week. Burks had only been elevated for the Seahawks game, but this was Day’s third elevation and he was expected to be signed to be active again this season. Washington’s defensive line depth has been reduced by multiple season-ending injuries at defensive end and other players replacing him.

The Commanders WR depth continues to be tested with Luke McCaffrey moving to injured reserve this week after breaking his collarbone on the opening kickoff. Terry McLaurin is out again after aggravating his quad injury and Noah Brown hasn’t played since suffering a groin injury in Week 2.
