Avengers: Doomsday Trailer – Top 10 Most Anticipated Reveals

The first trailer for Avengers: Apocalypse is almost there, it would have preceded that of James Cameron Avatar: Fire and Ashes end of 2025. As the start of the grand finale of the Multiverse Saga (combined with that of 2027 Avengers: Secret Wars), The end of the world We hope the first trailer is full of exciting reveals and hype about what’s to come.
This year, Captain America: Brave New World, Love at first sight*And Fantastic Four: first steps have all prepared the ground for Avengers: Apocalypsereleased in December next year. With MCU fans very excited to see what’s in store for the next big crossover, here are 10 things we’re most hoping to see when Avengers: Apocalypse finally releases its first trailer.
An explanation for Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom
The biggest question surrounding Avengers: Apocalypse This is how Robert Downey Jr. fits in and his return not as Tony Stark’s Iron Man, but as Victor Von Doom.
After years of playing a founding Avenger, seeing Downey behind the mask of one of Marvel’s most powerful supervillains is quite surprising, especially when it was first announced at San Diego Comic-Con in 2024. While The end of the world The first trailer obviously doesn’t need to explain everything, it would be nice to get some sort of tease explaining the major casting decision.
Confirmed to be meant to be proof of the multiverse and its infinite possibilities, it will be fascinating to learn why Downey is playing Doctor Doom specifically and how he might connect to the fallen Iron Man.
Divisions between Avengers teams
Ahead of Avengers: ApocalypseEarth’s Mightiest Heroes Are In An Interesting Place. After all, even though Sam Wilson’s Captain America confirmed his intention to form a new Avengers team at the end of Brave New World, Love at first sight* saw the team of anti-heroes become a full-fledged New Avengers team operating out of the old Avengers Tower (explaining the asterisk in the title).
Likewise, the post-credits scene of Love at first sight* teased that Wilson wasn’t too happy with the New Avengers, given his own team of heroes (although we don’t yet know his official roster beyond Joaquin Torres’ Falcon). As such, it would be fun if this clash teased Love at first sight* was rewarded with some head shots in the next trailer.
The meeting of the four fantastic heroes of Earth-616
After their exciting debut in 2025 Fantastic Four: first stepsthe MCU’s first family finally crossing paths with the main Avengers will be a monumental moment. Not only Love at first sight* tease their arrival from Earth-828 to Earth-616, but First stepsThe post-credits’ own scene explained why, with Doctor Doom appearing in front of Reed Richards and Sue Storm’s incredibly powerful son, Franklin.
The current idea is that the Fantastic Four attempt to follow Doom across the multiverse to save Franklin, likely putting them face to face with the heroes of the main MCU timeline. As such, it would be great to see the First Family interact with characters like Captain America, Thor, and more classic MCU heroes in The end of the world first trailer.
The X-Men enter the chat
Following the first casting announcements, Avengers: Apocalypse is also expected to unite the heroes of the main MCU with the X-Men of the Fox film universe.
Classic X-Men Actors Confirmed to Be Part of The end of the world Cast members so far include Beast (Kelsey Grammer), Professor
The chance to see one of them in The end of the world The first trailer interacting with one of the Avengers would be incredibly exciting, teasing future teams against Doctor Doom (or perhaps even conflicts between them).
A tease for Doctor Doom’s plans
Every big Avengers the film needs an unforgettable villain, and a Doctor Doom serving as a multiversal threat could arguably rival (or perhaps even surpass) them all.
The first trailer shouldn’t reveal too much, but it would be very exciting to learn even a little bit about Doom’s plan and his goals, especially if he ends up being the villain of the film. Secret Wars (just like he was in the comic book versions).
Given rumors that Doom seeks to control or reshape the multiverse itself in his own image, the hope is to have a tone that is both cosmic and deeply personal, much like Thanos: a villain who truly believes he saves existence through conquest and/or the acquisition of godlike power.
A big, new name
It could be Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine or even Nicolas Cage in the role of Ghost Rider.. If Avengers: Apocalypse The first trailer wants to guarantee massive buzz, it would reveal an actor/character who has not yet been revealed within the cast.
Naturally, Marvel will want to keep most of its Multiversal surprises and cameos up its sleeves until the film’s release, but providing some sort of unexpected face would still be very exciting.
A Thor/Loki reunion
The Sons of Odin have been separated for far too long, and Avengers: Apocalypse it seems like this is the movie where “the sun will shine on them again“.
Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Tom Hiddleston’s Loki are confirmed to be part of the cast for the major crossover.. Likewise, the end of Loki season 2 saw the God of Mischief become so much more, becoming a key multiversal figure that holds the sacred timeline together.
As such, it would be amazing to see Avengers: Apocalypse first trailer at least teasing the long-awaited reunion of the Asgardian brothers.
The general issues at the beginning of the end of the multiverse saga
Avengers: Apocalypse will serve as the first half of the Multiverse Saga’s two-part finale. With that in mind, MCU fans will need clarity on the overall stakes as soon as possible for the sake of investment.
This is something we might start to see when The end of the world first trailer released at the end of this year, perhaps teasing the stakes and threats facing the multiverse. After all, we already know that incursions have the power to cause all kinds of damage and multiverse chaos.
While no one should expect Marvel Studios to abandon everything all at once, it would be good to see some intense enough footage of worlds colliding and timelines collapsing to sell these upcoming crossovers as one of the MCU’s biggest stories of all time.
From the start, the danger facing the MCU should seem bigger than Thanos and the Infinity Stones.
Accurate costumes for the X-Men
Especially after the release of X-Men ’97A big request from MCU fans is for accurate X-Men costumes versus the predominantly black leather uniforms we’ve seen in most of Fox’s previous films. X-Men films, with their attenuated designs. Cyclops needs his classic blue and yellow, Magneto needs his red and purple, Nightcrawler needs his red and white, and so on.
If doomsday even gives us a glimpse of it, the very first trailer will have already done its job in terms of excitement and hype.
A combination of Avengers and X-Men themes
Even in trailers, music matters. If there’s one thing Marvel fans love, it’s the pure epic nostalgia of iconic superhero themes, so why not deliver an epic combination of two of the genre’s best?
Hear that of Alan Silvestri Avengers score mixed with 90s animation X-Men theme or their main theme of Fox’s live-action films would result in some pretty extreme goosebumps. This would perfectly symbolize the MCU’s ultimate crossover moment, bringing together multiple generations of fans for this next multiversal crossover.
If Avengers: Apocalypse delivers even half of these moments in its first trailer, Marvel Studios could reignite lasting enthusiasm for the future of the MCU that has been rather volatile since the Infinity Saga.
Between Doctor Doom’s debut with RDJ, the arrival of the X-Men, and the return of a real slate of Avengers (technically two), this upcoming trailer could be the start of the MCU’s biggest story yet.
