AHSOKA Star Ariana Greenblatt Reveals Which BATMAN and TEEN TITANS Characters She Wants to Play in the DCU
Ariana Greenblatt is only 18 years old, but she already has some huge franchises among her many credits. The actress played a young Gamora in Avengers: Infinity Warand even dressed like The Clone Wars-era Ahsoka Tano in the Star Wars TV series, Ahsoka.
Greenblatt was also widely acclaimed for her memorable stint barbie.
On tour to promote the latest installment of another great film series, Now you see me: now you don’t see me anymoreGreenblatt and his co-star Justice Smith were asked about which DCU characters would interest them.
“I would love to play Catwoman. I would love to,” she replied, prompting Smith to intervene, “There’s a superhero I’ve always wanted to be. I’ve always wanted to be Beast Boy from Teen Titans.”
Although Greenblatt may be a little young to play Selina Kyle in The brave and the boldshe continued by sharing a possible Teen Titans role for which she would undoubtedly be perfect. “And I will be Raven” she exclaimed at Smith’s suggestion of playing Beast Boy.
DC Studios enlisted Supergirl the writer Ana Nogueira will write a Teen Titans movie. However, since then she has focused on writing the Wonder Woman reboot, leaving the status of this project a mystery to us.
Tell us about Love and monsters in 2020, Greenblatt reflected on it Avengers experience.
“I didn’t know anything! For the auditions, they gave me fake sides, so the names were all different, the scene structure and lines were all different too. We definitely knew the bare minimum, and on set they were super, super secretive. We didn’t get the script, and we only got the sides that I was on for the day that I found interesting. Every time I had to leave my dressing room, they had a huge black umbrella with curtains around it and I had to walking under it so no one would take a photo and see what I wanted. It was a crazy experience, but also super cool.”
“Josh was amazing. He’s such a great person and behind the scenes we were pranking random people, it was so much fun and now it’s something we have. I really hope I get to see him again. The Russo Brothers were so brilliant and have such a great vision for everything they do, which was an amazing opportunity to be a part of.”
