Mandhana’s performances throughout the 2025 World Cup have been nothing short of extraordinary. The elegant left-hander was India’s most consistent performer with the bat, playing a pivotal role in guiding the team through tough contests and crucial run chases.

With 434 points in the tournament, Mandhana broke Mithali Rajthe long-standing record for the most runs scored by an Indian player in a single edition of the Women’s ODI World Cup. Mithali had accumulated 409 runs in the 2017 edition, where India narrowly fell short in the final against England.

Mandhana’s total now places her among the greatest of all time, as she closes in on the world record held by Australia’s Alyssa Healy, who amassed 509 runs at the 2022 World Cup.
