BRAND NEW DAY Filming Video Reveals Major SPOILER for Sadie Sink’s Mysterious Character

The debate continues over who Sadie Sink is playing Spider-Man: A Whole New Daybut a new set video reveals a potentially major spoiler for her role in the film.

As you can see below, Sink’s character is being transported in a black van on a stretcher. She doesn’t appear to be moving, and those who watched these filming scenes told us that the people taking her away were the Department of Damage Control.

The implication is that she has superpowers, as we know that the DODC took a particular interest in young superhumans following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home And Ms. Marvel.

There’s a chance that Sink’s character is even dead in these scenes, because this looks like the type of van you might place a body in. Stranger Things star playing everyone from Jean Gray to Rachel Cole-Alves and a shapeshifter like Shathra or Menace, so your guess is always as good as ours when it comes to who she could be.

How do we know it’s Sink when the video quality is “meh” at best? Well, the clothes on the person on the stretcher match what we saw the actress wearing a few days ago, and those on set also claimed it was her.

Sink will inevitably be bombarded by questions from Spidey during the promotion of the fifth and final season of Stranger Things later this year. It was back in March when she first broke her silence on the Marvel Girl claims.

“That’s news to me. No, I don’t have anything to say about it. But the rumors are really cool.” » said Evier. “It’s an awesome rumor. Yes, I know the character. He’s an awesome character, so it was cool to read. I think it’s super exciting.”

Spider-Man: A Whole New Day shares a title with a controversial era of storytelling that, thanks to a deal with Mephisto, saw the wall-crawler get a fresh start when his marriage to Mary Jane Watson ended and his identity became a secret again. He faced many sinister new foes during this time and was surrounded by a revamped supporting cast, including Mister Negative, Jackpot, Menace and Carlie Cooper.

In the MCU, all signs point to Spidey teaming up with (and at one point fighting) The Punisher to take on a Savage Hulk, with The Scorpion thrown in for good measure.

Several other villains are expected to appear in the film, including Tombstone, Tarantula, Boomerang and Ramrod. There has also been some discussion online about the Venom Symbiote factoring into the story, potentially paving the way for Mac Gargan to eventually don the alien costume.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings director Destin Daniel Cretton directs Spider-Man: A Whole New Day from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.

Tom Holland plays Spider-Man in a cast that also includes Jon Bernthal (The Punisher), Mark Ruffalo (The Hulk), Zendaya (MJ), Sadie Sink, Michael Mando (The Scorpion), Tramell Tillman, Marvin Jones III (Tombstone), Jacob Batalon (Ned Leeds) and Liza Colón-Zayas. Love at first sight* star Florence Pugh is set to return as Yelena Belova.

Spider-Man: A Whole New Day will be released in theaters on July 31, 2026.
