‘No Kings’ Protester Reportedly Said He Would Kill White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller

A protester at Saturday’s “No Kings” rally in Seattle was recorded telling a reporter that he apparently wanted to kill White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller.
Dozens of protests against President Donald Trump and his administration’s policies took place across the country on October 18. Journalist Brandi Kruse posted video of the protester being interviewed while holding a sign that read: “Would you kill Nazis?” [With] Me?” (RELATED: Rachel Maddow Calls Anti-ICE Rioters Peaceful Despite Videos Showing Clashes With Law Enforcement)
“Who are you going to kill?” Kruse asked in the video. “Nazis,” the man replied.
“Who do you define as a Nazi?” “” the reporter continued, to which the man asked, “What do you mean?”
During several campaigns, including the 2024 presidential election and the 2022 midterm elections, many Democrats have sought to portray President Donald Trump and other Republicans as fascists or threats to democracy.
“In this context, who is a Nazi? » asked Kruse. “Stephen Miller is a Nazi,” the protester responded.
“You’re going to kill Stephen Miller,” the reporter repeated, seemingly stunned, before the protester responded: “If I had the chance, yes, I would.” »
Kruse later reported that the FBI was investigating the threats made by the man. Kruse also posted a video showing another protester saying killing Miller would be “justifiable.”
Miller and his family were forced to leave their home in Arlington, Virginia, after becoming the target of a campaign of harassment. This intense effort included written messages such as “Stephen Miller is destroying democracy,” “No white nationalism,” and “Trans rights are human rights” on public sidewalks near his residence, as well as posting flyers listing his home address.
Another protester from the “No Kings” movement said that for her birthday, she wanted to wake up the next morning to read Trump’s obituary, according to a video published Saturday by The Maine Wire.
“Do you wish President Trump were dead?” » the journalist asked him in the video. The protester replied: “Yes. Absolutely.” (RELATED: “This is assassination talk!”: Journalist shuts down CNN rep over rhetoric)
At another “No Kings” event in Chicago, a man reportedly urged attendees to shoot U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.
“You need to pick up a gun, we need to turn the tide against this fascist system. These ICE agents need to be taken down and destroyed,” the man, who stood in front of a Progressive Labor Party banner, reportedly said. “The same machines that are on display here must be wiped out.”
Another “No Kings” protester in Chicago apparently made a “neck snap” gesture at counterprotesters who unveiled a flag honoring Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, according to a video originally posted to Instagram before being reposted on X by journalist Colin Rugg. Kirk was murdered on September 10 while debating with students at Utah Valley University.
ICE facilities in Chicago and Portland, Oregon, recently became the scene of multiple riots as opposition to the agency’s operations targeting illegal immigrants intensified. Some Chicago rioters called for ICE agents to be arrested or shot, according to video posted online from one of the riots.

Two people were killed in a Sept. 24 shooting at ICE offices in Dallas, in which the shooter committed suicide. There have been two previous incidents in which shots were fired at ICE or Border Patrol facilities in Texas since July 4, 2025. Ten people have been charged with attempted murder in connection with the first incident.
Most recently, the FBI investigated a hunting stand set up near Palm Beach International Airport that provided a direct view of where Trump boarded or got off Air Force One.
A survey released in April 2025 by Rutgers University and the Network Contagion Research Institute showed that 56% of “center-left” respondents believed the assassination of President Donald Trump, who survived two assassination attempts during the 2024 presidential campaign, would be at least partly justifiable.
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.
