With six teams bye in NFL Week 8, we would probably assume that it might be difficult to find quarterbacks for fantasy football rosters.

However, two of the league’s biggest star QBs – Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson – are replacing their managers.

Given the combination of the rise of mid-range quarterbacks and some tantalizing matchups this week, quarterbacks are found in abundance outside of superflex/2QB setups, so adjustments can easily be made.

Who are the best fantasy QBs in Week 8?

Patrick Mahomes is surging back into the elite level with the return of wide receiver Rashee Rice from suspension, and he tops our initial QB rankings.

After him are the usual suspects Baker Mayfield (at Saints), Jalen Hurts (vs. Giants), Drake Maye (vs. Browns, fresh off a 91% completion rate in Week 7), and Jayden Daniels (at Chiefs).

Which fantasy QB sleepers should I stream for Week 8?

Bo Nix gets a tough shot against the Dallas Cowboys defense, which ranks among the easiest units for fantasy quarterbacks.

As the Atlanta Falcons offense finds its rhythm from the Week 5 bye, Michael Penix Jr. hosts a Charmin-soft matchup with the disintegrating Miami Dolphins. The southpaw will likely get an even bigger upgrade as the week goes on.

The Baltimore Ravens will likely still have plenty of injury issues, especially with their basement defense. This sets up Caleb Williams of the Chicago Bears perfectly for a profitable fantasy weekend.

Especially if they are without CB Sauce Gardner (concussion), the New York Jets will allow Cincinnati Bengals wideouts Joe Flacco, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, to fly all over the field.

Which quarterbacks rank among Week 8 fantasy busts?

Dak Prescott might struggle to put up elite numbers on the road against a tough Denver Broncos defense, especially with Dallas’ offensive line’s continued issues with top passing units.

Jaxson Dart sure has the legs to get out of trouble, but playing the Philadelphia Eagles so close in a few weeks should warn us that Philly’s experienced defense and coaching staff will have enough duct tape to stifle him. Start him if byes are a problem, but his cap is capped.
