Ninja Gaiden 4 release times revealed

Ninja Gaiden 4 will soon launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, capping off a big year for the franchise. The first mainline Ninja Gaiden in many years, this new entry in the series was co-developed by Team Ninja and Platinum Games, and it will officially launch on October 21. Ninja Gaiden 4’s global launch times have been officially confirmed, and if you’re in the US, you won’t have to worry too much about FOMO during working hours as the game goes live near the end of the day on October 20.

For the central part of the world, these times translate into a very early launch on October 21, so if you’re in London or Paris you can at least wake up and start playing straight away if you’ve preloaded the game. Here’s a quick look at the exact launch times for Ninja Gaiden 4 across the world. As a reminder, Ninja Gaiden 4 will also be a day one release for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Ninja Gaiden 4 Preload Times and Install Sizes

Ninja Gaiden 4 should be a relatively quick download – depending on your home internet connection – as sizes vary from 36.82GB on Xbox Series X|S consoles to 54.9GB on PC. PS5 users can expect the smallest download here, as the game comes in at 23.55 GB in size. These are just the install sizes, and are subject to change with potential updates or future patches. Ninja Gaiden 4 pre-orders are still live and include several bonuses.

Following the release of Ninja Gaiden 2 Black and Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound earlier this year, Ninja Gaiden 4 follows Ryu Hayabusa and a new protagonist, Yakumo, as they explore the Tokyo underworld. “Ninja Gaiden 4 is shaping up to be a fun reunion for series veterans, as well as a great entry point for newcomers,” Jessica Cogswell wrote in her preview of the game. “Ninja Gaiden 4 is the style of Ninja Gaiden you want.”

Although the series has a reputation for being difficult, this new entry in the franchise appears to be the most accessible yet thanks to several accessibility options. If you want to go through the storyline and feel like a ninja master, you can tone down the difficulty of your playthrough, or if you’re feeling masochistic, you can increase it to a sadistic level designed to seem deliberately unfair.
