EXCLUSIVE: Sonja Warfield, one of the executive producers of the HBO series The golden agehas new management.
Warfield, who is co-showrunner of the HBO period drama, has signed with Anonymous Content.
This comes as Amazon has just resumed its adaptation of The Davenports for development. Warfield has partnered with And just like that… executive producer Susan Fales-Hill will write and produce the adaptation, based on the novel of the same name by Krystal Marquis, a The Bridgerton Chronicles-romantic series, set in America in 1910. It comes from Amazon MGM Studios, Warner Bros. Television and Alloy Entertainment.
Warfield has previously written on series, including the NBC sitcom Will and GraceBETTINGS The gameDisney Channel Liv and MaddieBETTINGS Zoe forever, which starred Brandy), DreamWorks and the Netflix animated series She-Ra, for which she also wrote an original song, and ABC’s Jake in progress.
In addition to his television and film work, Warfield is the author of Get your ass off my couch (and your hand out of my wallet). She is also a stand-up comedian, having appeared at The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory and The Ice House.
This is the latest signing from Anonymous Content, recently signed Messy Alexi Water, Mr. In-between director Nash Edgerton, Charlie Harper director Mac Eldridge and Liza Koshy over the past few months.
Warfield continues to be represented by Myman Greenspan Fox Rosenberg Mobasser Younger & White.
