Twice expands its ‘world tour’

K-pop group TWICE announced 10 additional dates for their upcoming “ World Tour” across North America, Europe and the United Kingdom, with second shows added in previously announced cities including Vancouver, Seattle, Dallas, Chicago, Austin, Paris and Amsterdam. The UBS Arena in Belmont, New York, and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles will now host three and four shows, respectively. TWICE also announced that they will will perform in Turin, Italy at the Inalpi Arena on May 20.

Since going on sale last week, TWICE has added 17 new dates in total, including expanded shows in Oakland, California, Washington, DC, Hamilton, Ontario, and more.

TWICE will perform in the round on a 360-degree stage. Their North American leg begins January 9 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver and continues through April 18 at the Moody Center in Austin. On May 9, the K-pop group will begin their European tour at the MEO Arena in Lisbon and will end their tour on June 4 at the O2 in London.

TWICE released their fourth studio album, It is for, which debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200. The girl group also contributed to the soundtrack of the recent Netflix hit, “K-Pop Demon Hunters.”

With 24 major titles submitted to Pollstar’s box office, TWICE sold a total of 671,888 tickets, grossing $93.8 million. On average, the K-pop girl group sells 27,995 tickets, worth $3.9 million.

Tickets for the newly announced North American dates go on sale October 16 at 3 p.m. local time. European tickets go on sale on October 16 at 10 a.m. local time. Remaining tickets for previously announced shows are now on sale.
