Chelsea boss Maresca suspended for one match on touchline

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has received a one-match touchline ban and an £8,000 fine for misconduct during Liverpool’s Premier League victory.
Maresca was sent off as Chelsea secured a dramatic 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge thanks to Estevao’s injury-time strike.
The Italian rushed to the touchline to celebrate with his players, but then received a second yellow card from referee Anthony Taylor.
An FA statement read: “Enzo Maresca has been handed a one-match touchline ban and fined £8,000 for misconduct during the Premier League match between Chelsea and Liverpool on Saturday October 4.
“It was alleged that the coach acted inappropriately and/or used abusive and/or insulting words and/or behavior during the match, which led to his sending off around the 96th minute. Enzo Maresca later admitted the accusation and accepted the standard penalty.”
The ban will see Maresca confined to the stands as Chelsea take on Nottingham Forest at the City Ground this Saturday.
Chelsea are seventh in the Premier League after seven matches, five points behind first leaders Arsenal.
