Toxic Katie Porter gets worse and pathetically tries to explain abusive videos – RedState

A political minute ago, Democrat Katie Porter, a former University of California bankruptcy and consumer law professor, U.S. House representative and Elizabeth Warren protégé, was the favorite to replace California Gov. Gavin Newsom (luckily he’s out in 2026), but this die-hard leftist bully’s chances have been seriously hurt. undermined when damaging videos were released this week showing her abusing a reporter for asking simple questions and, in another clip, swearing like a sailor at a lowly employee who dared to “step into her shot”.

Good.

Unfortunately, the Golden State doesn’t face a plethora of suitable options, even though Republican Steve Hilton is running a strong race and tough-talking Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco is in the mix, but we all know a GOP victory is a tough hill to climb, given the state’s far-left electorate. Who votes for Gavin Newsom – twice? I shake my head.

It’s hard to see Porter taking on the role, however, as she showed none of Newsom’s central casting characteristics or his gaslighting abilities, as he casually dismisses the utter failure and dystopia he has brought to the state.

In fact, his attempt to clean up his brutal comments with “Inside California Politics” host Nikki Laurenzois is downright pathetic:

She struggles to breathe between each sentence and is about as convincing as the guy with the wet mustache trying to sell you the Brooklyn Bridge.

Porter’s “explanation” seems to come straight from the mouths of spousal abusers everywhere:

“When I watch these videos, I want people to know that I understand that I could have handled things better,” Porter said. [Ya think?!]

“I think I’m known as someone who is able to answer tough questions, who is willing to answer questions, and I want people to know that I really appreciate the incredible work that my staff can do.”

You mean, the staff you mistreat like they’re maids from “Game of Thrones”? » Yeah, I don’t buy it, Ms. Porter. As RedState’s Bonchie reported, the list of abuses is long:

Of course, these are just the latest in a long line of examples that the former congresswoman has serious anger issues. That’s certainly what Porter’s ex-husband thinks, considering she allegedly poured hot potatoes over his head. She also verbally abused a wounded warrior who was sent to work in her office, accusing the military veteran of giving her COVID-19. Now, Porter has responded to his latest woes in the most sociopathic way possible.

This is a woman who feels no remorse for anything.

We’ve seen some truly toxic characters on the Democratic side – think of the intellectually challenged California Democrats. Rep. Eric Swalwell, flamethrower and Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett, America-hating Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), and more, but Porter may just be the baddest of them all.

Her attempts to eliminate her toxicity are completely lame, and she should now call it a political career and try selling real estate – or maybe timeshares. That would seem to be more within his reach.
