Andrew Garfield and Sesame Workshop, Katie Couric and the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, the Clinton Global Initiative, Google, Headspace, IFC, MTV Entertainment Studios, Paramount Pictures, Spotify and The daily show are among the finalists for the Anthem Awards 2025, The Hollywood Reporter can exclusively reveal.

The Webby Awards’ Social Impact Awards, now in their fifth year, celebrate people, businesses and organizations whose mission-driven work creates meaningful change around the world. The Anthem Awards in particular highlighted how this year’s finalists have an “unwavering commitment to progress and positive change” at a time when many nonprofits, advocacy groups, and purpose-driven brands face funding and mission challenges.

This year’s Anthem Prize finalists were selected from more than 2,000 submissions from 42 countries by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS).

“In our fifth annual Anthem Awards, we celebrate and honor true changemakers who are moving humanity forward, especially in the midst of today’s challenges,” Anthem Awards CEO Patricia McLoughlin said in a statement. “This year’s cohort of finalists represents hope, compassion and inclusiveness, and teaches us that when we come together in united action, we truly can make a difference.

Anthem Awards judges include Nancy Brown, CEO of the American Heart Association; Mitu Yilma, Born This Way Foundation vice president, content and brand; Miguel Castro, head of global media partnerships at the Gates Foundation; Trovon Williams, senior vice president of marketing and communications at the NAACP; Lauren Garcimonde-Fisher, vice president of brand Planned Parenthood; Erika Soto Lamb, vice president, social impact strategy, Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios at Paramount; and Brett Peters, global head of TikTok for Good.

The winners of the Anthem Awards (in the gold, silver and bronze categories determined by the IADAS judges) will be announced on Tuesday 18 November. Fans will be able to watch each winner’s “call to action speech” in the Anthem Winners Gallery. The for-profit and nonprofit entries in each media type that receive the most support will win the Anthem Community Voice Awards, for which voting will take place online through Thursday, October 30.
