This is undoubtedly a tribute to the wildly popular Takashi Murakami Tokyo Series Dodgers jerseys that have overtaken Los Angeles as a must-have fashion item, including Ms. Freeman wearing one earlier this season, which the world-famous artist debuted when the Boys in Blue opened their season in Japan.
Now, Freddie Freeman, the Dodgers’ hero from last year when they won the World Series against the New York Yankees, and the rest of his teammates are hoping they don’t have to return to Philadelphia for a do-or-die Game 5 in what would be an electric atmosphere at Citizens Bank Park.
