Lamar Jackson excluded the Texans

The Ravens are about to see how their attack works without Lamar Jackson, because the double MVP of the Ravens was excluded for the Sunday match against the Houston Texans.

Jackson did not train this week after undergoing a hamstring injury in the defeat of the Ravens in Kansas City on Sunday. Cooper Rush is online to start his 15th match in nine seasons of the NFL.

It will be Jackson’s first failed match due to an injury since 2022, when he has undergone a MCL (knee) sprain. Jackson has missed the last five games of the regular ravens season this season and their defeat in a qualifying series in Cincinnati.

While losing Jackson bites, the Ravens have expressed their confidence in Rush’s ability to operate the offensive at a high level. Rush is 9-5 as a starter during his career and the Ravens signed him to be the backup of Jackson for exactly this scenario.

“Obviously, as athletic as” coop “, some of these things will not be like Lamar,” said offensive coordinator Todd Monken this week. “But that does not mean that you cannot yet be effective and efficient.”
