Turner, 74, announced his commitment to the new girlfriend Lana Sutton in an Instagram article shared on Friday October 3. “We have great news. The Bachelor Golden is out of the market. I found my match perfect and she said” yes “. I love this woman,” wrote Turner in the legend.

The post presents photos of the couple spending time together near the beach while Sutton shows his engagement ring, which has a round diamond and a band encrusted with diamonds.

Two weeks ago, the couple shared photos of a recent trip to Toronto on Instagram from Sutton. “Made a wonderful trip to Niagara Falls from Canada! I loved every moment with @Golsengerryturner! Oh Canada 🇨🇦 🇨🇦 🇨🇦 🇨🇦”, she wrote in the post, in which the pair set the waterfall behind them.

In April, Turner told people exclusively that he and Sutton had traveled in a new “almost every weekend” since they started going out together in March, including in North Carolina to meet his parents.

“The first trip was at the male basketball tournament Big 10, then we went to a volleyball tournament in the Indianapolis region, then we went to St. Louis,” shared Turner at the time. “We went to a Baseball of the Cardinals of St. Louis and now this trip to Charlotte – and that’s it in the first 60 days! Her level of adventure and mine are very similar.”

The couple’s announcement comes 15 months after the Turner divorce of ex-wife Teresa Nist, who received his last rose on The Golden Bachelor In 2023. Turner and NIST then made the knot during a television ceremony in January 2024 which was officiated by Susan Noles of the Susan Noles franchise at the Quinta Resort and Club in the Quinta, California.

The former couple separated 10 months later in November 2024.

“You really can’t know someone in four weeks. I’m just going to say that,” said Nist.

“I don’t want to say more than that,” she continued, even if she revealed that it was “not only the location place” which caused their divorce.

Turner lives in Indiana, while Nist lives in New Jersey. At the time of their divorce announcement, they said they were “so dedicated” to their families that the distance had become a problem.

In December, Turner announced who had been diagnosed with an “incurable” and “slow growth” form of bone cancer. Speaking on the episode of April 15 of the Bachelor Happy Hour Podcast, Turner said that despite the diagnosis, he “feels good” and is optimistic about the future.

“I feel good,” he said. “Until I have symptoms, there is no treatment. So I go frequently for blood tests. I am, like a six -month schedule now, and I feel optimistic because the doctor said:” Well, when you are 75 years old, we will have to have three months. “So that tells me that at least he expects to live a few more years to get there.
