Liverpool’s goalkeeper, Alisson, miss up to six weeks

Liverpool will be without goalkeeper Alisson up to six weeks, according to a report by The Athletic.

The Brazilian international suffered an injury to the hamstrings against Galatasaray on Tuesday evening, suffered a stop by Victor Osimhen and had to leave the field 11 minutes in the second half of the 1-0 defeat.

He was replaced by Giorgi Mamardashvili in Istanbul and Georgia could now have his chance to extend in the team.

Asked about Alisson after the match at Rams Park, Arne Slot said: “It’s never positive if you go like that. You can be sure he doesn’t play on Saturday.”

He will not play in the following weeks either.

What Alisson Games will they miss?

The 33 -year -old man was not included in the Brazilian team appointed by Carlo Ancelotti for friendly matches against South Korea and Japan.

And there will also be several big games for Liverpool.

After the match at Stamford Bridge, the next Liverpool Premier League match will take place on October 19 when the Rivaux Arch Manchester United are Anfield visitors.

A trip to the Champions League in Eintracht Frankfurt follows before a championship match in Brentford, a confrontation of the EFL Cup with Crystal Palace and a meeting at home with Aston Villa.

Two other crisis lights arrive before the international break in November – at home in Real Madrid and the absence in Manchester City.
