The reason why Vince McMahon pulled Charlotte Flair from “Queen of the Ring” revealed
Charlotte Flair was originally part of the Ring queen casting. Flair had to play June Byers, but she was suddenly withdrawn from the film. Kamille (Kailey Latimer) finally took the role of Byers, one of the main rivals of Mildred Burke by Emily Bett Rickards.
The Twitter Queen of the Ring account recently shared flair training images on the set. The thread of publications also shared more details on the reasons why it was removed from the film. According to the story, Charlotte Flair was fired by Vince McMahon because he did not want her to appear in a small independent film.
“The incredible training Charlotte Flair with our head from Emily to OVW in the days preceding the start of filming. WWE studios submitted it for the film and was initially interpreted as June Byers. But we were told to Vince McMahon, then personally removed it because we were a short independent film, not a big studio.
The account then praised Latimer for having done an excellent job as Byers, which was his first role as an actor.
“Fortunately, Kailey ‘Kamille’ Latimer was available at the last minute and assumed the role of June, offering a really stellar performance. It was her first time and she did all her own waterfalls. If Kailey had not intensified it when and how she did, who knows what would have been more behind the scenes.”
This is not the first time that WWE has been accused of having spoiled the progress of the film. The Qotr Twitter / X account “Recently accused the promotion of” sabotage behavior “.
Charlotte Flair was very close to starting filming Ring queen
Ring queen Director Ash Avildsen previously told Jim Cornette that Flair (and Liv Morgan) were both presented for the film by WWE. Flair was adjusted for the wardrobe, but it was drawn a few days before the start of the shooting. He said he couldn’t bring WWE to sign on the paperwork and could not get a direct response. However, someone told him that McMahon was crazy because talent was missing WWE television because he was on film sets.
Although this was not confirmed, Avildsen said it was believed that Seth Rollins lacked time for Captain America: Brave New World was also a point of discord with McMahon, which is no longer affiliated with WWE because of its role in a trial in the course of sexual assault and traffic.
Ring queen is available to buy or rent on digital on -demand video services, including Amazon Prime, now.
