Frank once called the star of the Premier League “perfect”, now he wants it to Tottenham

Tottenham’s boss, Thomas Frank, divides opinion between the Lilywhites fans base so far, despite what has been a solid start on paper, but the Danish continues his plans to slowly transform the Spurs into a winning team.
Tottenham goes out of prison in the Champions League against Bodo / Glimt
The Spurs were far from their best in Norway on Tuesday evening while Frank’s the team snatched another draw against the game.
Bodo / Glimt dominated the ball with a quick and sharp interaction and made life extremely difficult for the itinerant Londoners, during what was a cold, dark and stimulating night in the Arctic Circle.
A Jens HAGE atmosphere briefly gave the courageous team of an advance of 2-0 deserved before the star defender of the Spurs, Micky Van de Ven seized a goal two minutes later, with a goal from Jostein Gundersen by later stealing the three points of Bodo / Glimt.
The 2-2 draw was the third return of the Tottenham campaign after their trip to Brighton on September 20, which ended with the same score, and their dramatic 1-1 at home against the wolves last weekend.

The Lilywhites have largely managed to convince with their global display against opponents of the Europa League semi-final last season, but there is a case to do so that all the best football teams can leave with results despite not having played their full potential.
Frank’s team posted a real grain and resilience that was largely absent from the last season of Ange Postcoglou in charge, and some of the tactician players crossed impressive milestones against Bodo / Glimt.
Since the beginning of 2023/2024, no other defender of the Premier League has helped more goals in all competitions that the right back Pedro Porro, Van de Ven has also attracted Prays of Frank after his contribution.
Speaking after the match, Frank said that Van de Ven had been promoted to the leadership group after being very impressed by the Dutch international so far.
“I made a decision. I haven’t told players yet, it would be Thursday,” said Frank.
“I made the decision, but it is probably quite obvious that it will be (in the leadership group). He impressed me a lot as a player, but also as a communicator on the field. And a little spectacle, I think it was good today.”
Van de Ven and Cristian Romero are two crucial cogs in the Frank’s system, and despite the signing of Kevin Danso permanently in summer in summer, it is believed that Tottenham wants to sign another backup to the duo, while Radu Dragusin continues his slow return of an ACL injury.
Thomas Frank wants to sign Brentford Nathan Collins defender
In accordance with the journalist Graeme Bailey and TBR football, the manager of Tottenham is personally eager with a meeting with the defender of Brentford Nathan Collins in N17.
The 24-year-old became a captain of the bees after having emerged as a faithful in his 85 appearances for the club, with many of them being under Frank, and Collins would be “very high” on the target list of Spurs while they plan to sign a semi-center in January.
Tottenham apparently has a solid transfer budget for the winter window and Frank is a big fan of the Irish as a potential mid-season signature, with the defender Pascal Strujk of Leeds United also on the agenda as an alternative.
The Collins’ injury record last season was impeccable – starting each Premier League match under Frank and playing in its longest minutes – while making more blocks by 90 than any other Brentford player (Whoscored).
Frank also congratulated Collins many times, and he, interesting, once called him a “perfect” player in his configuration of Brentford, so that could be one to look at.
“He is a very talented and still young central defender,” said Frank in 2023.
“He has a lot of very good abilities that we appreciate a lot. He is a compound and calm defender. His head in the two boxes is a great thing, both in the open game and in the sets, which is massive in the Premier League.
“I also like his capacities on the ball. He can take the ball out of defense and also has the composure to find the right pass during the accumulation game.
“His character is really good, and we know that the character is everything. He will integrate into our culture, I have no doubt about this. I see a potential for leadership in Nathan. He is a perfect player from Brentford – hungry and ambitious with the desire to learn.”
