Hegseth orders 200 troops of the National Guard in Portland – State Dems immediately turns, take measures – Redstate
On Saturday, President Donald Trump authorized the use of the military force to repress the endless drama in Portland, and late Sunday, the secretary of the Ministry of War, Pete Hegseth, was retained on this subject and ordered 200 troops from the National Guard to the City of the West Coast.
Portland, of course, was the site of many anti -fas riots, the recent violent actions against ice facilities and does not forget – clouds of black life count the explosions during the riots of George Floyd 2020. They vandalized the Palais de Justice Federal de Mark O. Hatfield and were accused of criminal fire, destruction and attacks against Federal officers.
The Trump administration said they will no longer bear this kind of activity:

Hegseth sent the forces for 60 days:
For weeks, President Trump called Portland, specifically cited demonstrations outside of immigration and the application of American customs on Macadam Ave. For weeks, Trump suggested that he could send additional federal police or troops to the city. Many officials of states and premises have challenged this framing, saying that the president relies on an obsolete vision of the city and could refer to the videos of the demonstrations in 2020.
Unsurprisingly, the Democrats who supervised perpetual anarchy in Portland show no interest in stopping it and immediately moved to block Trump’s action:

Governor Tina Kotek, Attorney General Dan Rayfield, and the mayor of Portland, Keith Wilson, held a press conference on Sunday where they faced Trump trying to “score political points” and overcome his political authority. They would have a leg on which to stand, perhaps, if they had done something in their power in the past five years to restore the law and order to the city of Rose.
“The problem is that the president uses social media to inform his opinions,” said Rayfield. “Instead of working with elected leaders through this country, the president deliberately ignores reality on the ground in Portland to score political points or, at best, relying recklessly on social media gossip.”
Throughout the weekend, Oregon officials had hoped to persuade Trump and other cabinet officials to go ahead with a plan he announced on social networks on Saturday morning to send troops to Portland – “authorizing all the strength, if necessary” – although the president did not specify what he meant.
