“I’m not lucky”: Dwyane Wade reveals the first impression of Bam Adebayo de Gf A’ja Wilson
The legend of the NBA, Dwyane Wade, recently revealed his conversation with Miami Heat All-Star Bam Adebayo about the superstar of the Wnba A’ja Wilson. In the latest episode of “Time Out With Dwyane Wade on the Wy Network” on YouTube on Tuesday, September 23, Wade discussed a plethora of subjects, including Adebayo and his girlfriend, Las Vegas Aces Sensation Wilson.
In a case of the episode, according to a video published by @vertimewbb on Instagram on Thursday, Wade mentioned the first impression of Adebayo de Wilson when he still got to know her. Since Debayo and Wilson are going out now, Wade revealed that the first was intimidated by the latter’s curriculum vitae as opposed to his.
“He presented his fourth MVP in A’ja … I remember, I was lucky to sit with Bam at the Olympic Games. We were both there to watch our female game. We just talked about an a’ja as a hooper. Bam made me crack when it was as if cold. He was like, “his prices are correct,” said Wade.
“I said, look at, a high school price, you know, like one of the best high division schools that win everything, my brother, she is a winner. Whenever you see her win something, you go: “Yes! When it comes to her because she is the dog. [dog]”, He continued.

To the delight of Wade and the rest of the United States fans, Adebayo and Wilson were respectively part of the male and female basketball teams who won the gold medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The two play in central positions and were key parts in their respective squads. Since then, the two stars have become public with their relationship thanks to appearances to the game and to carry the uniforms of the other.

Bam Adebayo recently presented A’ja Wilson his fourth MVP trophy in the regular WNBA season
As mentioned by Dwyane Wade, it was Bam Adebayo who presented the MVP Trophy of the regular WNBA 2025 season in A’ja Wilson, as we see in a video published by the @WNBA on Instagram on Sunday, September 21.
In the video, Wilson and his teammates from Las Vegas Aces are in their training center. Adebayo comes out of nowhere to give Wilson the prize, to the great rejoicing of the whole franchise.
It is the fourth record MVP of Wilson, having previously won in 2020, 2022 and 2024, as well as two WNBA championships.
