09/24/2025 AGGREKO UK Ltd
Global Leader in Energy Solutions Aggreko has strengthened its CVC specialist support and temperature of industrial processes with two appointments in its European team.
With more than four decades of experience in transversal sector in Aggreko between them, Andreas Essmann is now director of commercial development for temperature control and CVC in Northern Europe, while Christophe Chihaoui is responsible for temperature control for France and supporting South Europe.
They join the manager of temperature control recently appointed for the United Kingdom, Chris Smith, on the specialized industrial CVC team Aggreko and temperature control of the processes working in a range of sectors, including the petrochemical industry and refineries.
This includes the provision of temporary and additional cooling, heating and dehumidification solutions to support on -site maintenance work, system upgrades, temperature peaks and unexpected breakdowns throughout the year.
The meetings occur after prolonged periods of extreme and unpredictable time during the summer, including the record temperatures reached during heat waves. Such conditions have been concerned about security on sites and the potential for operating temperature and processes.
Prolonged heat periods have led to increasing pressure on CVC systems in all industries, which has led to new demand from companies and their entrepreneurs designated for reliable and effective temporary alternatives during critical maintenance and upgrading calendars.
The first forecasts for the coming winter have reversed more cold temperatures than normal temperatures to meet Europe with areas in the northwest and south of Europe which should undergo precipitation above average.
Responding to this, Aggreko warns entrepreneurs and engineers of the CVC, installation managers and companies in all sectors to ensure that they have plans in place to mitigate the challenges caused by the evolution of weather conditions throughout the year.
To support the petrochemical industry and refineries in remaining resilient by unpredictable and extreme weather conditions throughout the year, Aggreko has invested considerably in its fleet. Thanks to its new team of specialists by taking advantage of the extended energy expertise of Agleko, customers will also be able to receive integrated assistance using the company’s innovative power and temperature control fleet to stimulate efficiency and resilience.
This includes access to the latest Green Plus Green IPGRADE ™ portfolio offers from AGGREKO, such as hybrid temperature control solutions using battery energy storage systems alongside stadium V to save fuel, reduce emissions and improve reliability.
During his appointment, Andreas said: “I am happy to carry out work costs through northern Europe to meet their temperature control needs. With the increase in temperatures and the growing demand for reliable and effective solutions for CVC habits, it is more important than ever than we support the evolution of needs. North and I are impatient to lead our expert engineering teams to deliver it. »»
Christophe said: “Extreme weather conditions that we have seen through France can have a significant impact on CVC systems, and customers are in additional capacity.
Robert Wells, president of Europe in Aggreko, said: “We are committed to guarantee that our solutions and our expertise meet the changing needs of our customers to offer the efficiency, reliability and sustainability they need on site. While the unpredictable European weather continues to make challenges, the appointment of two experts experienced in a dedicated team aimed at supporting our customers with evolving industrial control and process temperature is a central part. For the United Kingdom and Ireland, Andreas and Christophe bring together more than six decades of experience in the field in our key sectors in Europe and that we can ensure that we can provide deep local knowledge supported by our global expertise. »»
