Christina Aguilera recreates an emblematic “dirrty” look

“I didn’t even think there was something bad, overwhelming or offensive about” Dirrty “anything,” she said Vogue. “I wanted this album to kiss all the different parts of being a woman – to feel independent and strong, to have my sexuality, and not what a guy thinks he should be.”
Christina noted how society holds women to certain standards with regard to their appearance.
“There is such a book of rules that we have to look at in a certain way, on a certain front, act in a certain way, to be sexy, not too sexy, to be a good girl, but not too good, because it is boring,” she said. “There is such a book of rules which is given to us and I gave it because I was very, very little and the more I get older, the more I realize, you will either be part of the problem, or you oppose and create your own story.”
