“A Most Wanted Man” by John Le Carré obtains a Korean adaptation

The studio based in London and Los Angeles, The Ink Factory, joins forces with the Korean production company Vo Media to develop a series adaptation of the acclaimed spying thriller by John Le Carré “A Most Wanted Man”.
The adaptation to Korea Set will be scripted by Kim Yun-Shin, with Kim Shin-Ho Product by Vo Media. Park Bo-Kyeong of VO Media will supervise the development alongside the executive producer of the Ink factory for Korea, Junyoung Jang. Executive producers include Tessa Inkelaar, Simon Cornwell, Stephen Cornwell and Michele Wolkoff for the Ink factory, as well as Joe Tsai and Arthur Wang from 127 Wall Productions.
The 2008 novel focuses on an illegal Muslim immigrant arriving in Hamburg of Russia, who is caught between the intelligence services of several countries in the post-September 11 era. History explores the themes of paranoia and moral ambiguity in the war against terrorism.

Vo Media, founded in 2015 by Park and Kim, has credits including “Why Her”, “I can hear your voice” and “The King 2 Hearts”. The partnership represents the continuous expansion of the Ink factory on Asian markets, according to projects such as the Hindi adaptation of “The Night Manager” for Disney + Hostar.
