The Los Angeles Dodgers are in the middle of an eventful end of the 2025 season. Dave Roberts started Clayton Kershaw for the last time at home Friday evening. Fortunately for them, Miguel Rojas wants to stay in the inner field of Tommy Edman and others.

Rojas has been one of the many players to call the Los Angeles offensive this season. However, the veteran field player is a key room on the Roberts list. He replaced several injured players throughout the season. When the dodgers lost Max Mancy because of the injuries, Rojas slipped to the third base and did well. When the playoffs start, he could be the most important bench player in the league.

The inner field player returned to Los Angeles in 2023 after spending almost a decade with the Marlins of Miami. He is a free agent this winter, leading some fans to worry about his future. Gomes rewarded Edman with a big agreement after the 2024 season and could easily do the same with Rojas. According to him in an interview with Dodgers Nation, he does not want to go nowhere.

“It will be my first priority, to sign here with the Dodgers for a year more, then after that, we re -evaluate where my career will go,” said Rojas about his future.

The inner field player has played well enough to earn a large salary in the form of a multi -year agreement. However, Rojas wants to stay with dodgers for at least one more season. This makes it easier for Gomes when it comes to building the team’s list next season. For the moment, the two are focusing on the playoffs and are trying to secure the consecutive titles of the World Series.
