Bill Belichick’s girlfriend obtained HBO “Hard Knocks” doc canceled creative control, property requests
The NFL films have canceled the plans for a season of the documentary program “Hard Knocks” focused on former coach of the New England Patriots Bill Belichick for a conflict climbing with Belichick’s girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, reported the New York Times on Tuesday.
This episode of the HBO series is said to have focused on the first season of Belichick as a chief coach of the University of North Carolina. But only a few days before it was announced, Hudson, 24, demanded the partial property of the program as well as the approval of the content. NFL Films also learned that Hudson was engaged in negotiations with the production company Everwonder to create similar docuseries.
In response, according to the New York Times, NFL Films finally decided to cancel the project.
Everwonder did not respond to the request for Thewrap comments.
The fight has not been the first time that Hudson has made the headlines. In April, when Belichick sat on an interview with “CBS News Sunday Morning” to talk about football and his new book “The Art of Winning: lessons from a life in football”, Hudson has also become a discord. Her relationship with her took the front of the stage after an apparently innocent question (“How did you meet?”) Was asked, Hudson suddenly cut the interview and said outside the camera: “We are not talking about it.”
A few days later, Belichick spoke of the interview in a shared statement via his employers at UNC Chapel Hill and said: “I agreed to speak with” CBS on Sunday morning “to promote my new book,” the art of earning: the lessons of my life in football “. Before this interview, I clearly communicated with my publicist at Simon & Schuster that any promotional interview in which I participated would agree to focus solely on the content of the book.

TMZ previously reported that the couple met during a flight in February 2021 when Hudson, born in March 2001, was 19 years old. At the time, Belichick had a 16 -year -old relationship with Linda Holliday.
Hudson has since become an eminent figure in Belichick’s life and has concluded a number of partnerships with the former Patriots head coach. She also listed on her LinkedIn that she is the director of the exploitation of Belichick Productions.
