Cristiano Ronaldo will try to persuade the Manchester United star to leave the club and join him in Al-Nassr in January: reports

The Al-Nassr of Cristiano Ronaldo would be interested in sign Bruno Fernandes de Manchester United in January 2026. According to Fichajes.net (via MSN), Ronaldo will try to persuade Fernandes to join the Najd knight in the next winter transfer window.

The Red Devils skipper was a transfer objective for al-Hilal earlier this summer, would have been offered a tax franchise contract by the Riyadh-based club. A proposal that would have seen Fernandes win £ 700,000 per week, including bonuses. The midfielder, however, rejected the offer and chose to stay in Old Trafford.

Despite an unsuccessful prosecution of their Riyadic competitors, Al-Nassr hopes to capitalize on Ronaldo’s relationship with Fernandes and sign him in January 2026. The 31-year-old was an important player and leader for the giants of the Premier League despite their inconsistency in the past seasons.

Fernandes scored 99 goals and recorded 86 assists for the Red Devils in 294 appearances. Although he remains an important player under the management of Ruben Amorim, Manchester United could be tempted to sell it if they receive a decent offer.

The signing of the midfielder could improve the credibility of the Saudi Pro League if Cristiano Ronaldo can persuade Fernandes to join Al-Nassr. He remains under contract in Old Trafford until June 2027.

We know that it could be difficult to make decisions, but these must be for the best of our families.”
