Biden prostate cancer diagnosis: unanswered questions, Maga attacks

Put aside politics for a moment, what I know is fundamentally impossible in this supercharged environment.
There is no way not to feel a sympathy for Joe Biden as a human being after his diagnosis of prostate cancer was made public on Sunday. He has a serious and fatal illness.
I have a lot of medical questions about the reasons why Biden and his doctors waited so long to treat this particularly “aggressive” form of cancer until it spreads to its bones. It is inexplicable for me. Now stadium cancer cannot be healed, although it can be contained.
Was it part of the concealment of the spectacular decrease of Biden of mental acuity, as the new book “Original Sin” documents? How would the voters reacted if they had known not only Biden was too old and weak to run for a second quarter, but also cancer?

But at a personal level, Biden’s life was marked by a tragedy, the car accident that killed his first wife and daughter to brain cancer who claimed his beautiful son – that is why he announced a “Moonshot cancer” as president.
Listen, I have known Joe Biden for 40 years, and whatever you thought of his policy, he is a nice guy. I covered it as the Senate judicial president. As vice-president, he sent my 8-year-old daughter once a handwritten note after writing a poem about their sharing of the same birthday. He liked to talk to journalists. He organized press festivals and was running with a super soaking, spraying small children. It was then.
But by 2023, he just had to go to the presidency, not when Aid debated if he needed a second term wheelchair, according to the book Jake Tapper-Alex Thompson. Many Democrats are angry at having reappeared during a rehabilitation tour, wishing that the 82 -year -old man only gets out of the scene.
The former president published a photo with his wife yesterday, saying: “Cancer touches us all. Like many of you, Jill and I have learned that we are the strongest in broken places.”
Dr. Zeke Emanuel said yesterday on “Morning Joe” that cancer “has existed for a very long time to President Biden – years … It is a bit surprising for many of us oncologists that he was not diagnosed earlier … He probably had it at the start of his presidency in 2021.”
But none of this matters to the types of extreme right, including many based in Florida.
The political world reacts to the diagnosis of “aggressive” cancer by former president Biden: “incredibly difficult”
Conservative influencer Roger O’Handley, writing under the name of DC Draino (“America First”), wrote a screed that has been retweeted or loved 10,000 times: “Some people seem to forget that he is a career criminal who has almost destroyed America.”
According to Mediitus, another far -right commentator, Brenden Dilley (Warlord Dilley, “media personality”), says: “In order to believe the diagnosis of Biden cancer, you must first believe that Biden and his family would voluntarily tell you the truth about anything.
His solution: “Stade 5 prostate cancer”. In other words, death.
The presidential councilor Laura Loomer called this “public relations strategy to shame the Democrats who go out with a book on the coverage of Biden’s health crisis”.
Breanna Morello, an self -proclaimed “independent journalist”: “They want all Monday morning shows to talk about it because Jake Tapper has a book for sale. It is a movement of public relations.”
What these messages and others have in common is the lack of a milligram of compassion for Joe Biden as a human being. Biden is bad, everything he does is bad, and if he dies, good storage room.
The big coverage of Biden: aid debated the opportunity to put the president in a wheelchair
I find that this inexplicably sad policy-Win-At-All-Costs politics is so consumed that human life has no meaning.
Even President Trump has abandoned his usual attacks on his opponent on time: “Melania and I are saddened to hear about the recent medical diagnosis of Joe Biden. We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family and we wish Joe a rapid and fast recovery.”
You see, it was not so difficult.

Elon Musk, who has faded from the news, shared an article by Clint Russell, who tweets like Liberty Lockdown (“A podcast for those who ask for freedom”) ::
“The plan was therefore to direct Biden, to lie to his cancer and dementia, to bring him back to the WH, then to make him withdraw immediately so that the reign of Kamala terror could begin.
“While trying to imprison or kill DJT. I assure us to make sure that we are all on the same wavelength here. These people are bad.”
The medical expert “ absolutely shocked ” by the calendar of the diagnosis of Biden prostate cancer
Musk replied with an emoji “Bullseye” in a dart board.
JD Vance, for his part, looked for common ground:
“Listen, I mean, first of all, of course, we want the best for the health of the former president. But I hope he is recovering. Look, I will say that the right time to have this conversation is now or at some point in the future. We must really be honest as to whether the former president was able to do the work.”

Others, such as independent journalist Taylor Lorenz, expressed their joy at the diagnosis of Biden. (Emma McIntyre / Getty Images for Theretaility.com)
Taylor Lorenz, who worked for the New York Times and the Washington Post before becoming independent, was happy about Biden news: “I hope he rots in hell and rests in piss.”
I sometimes defended it, but that is more appalling. Lorenz was dishonored.
Again, she applauded when the CEO of Unitedhealtcare, Brian Thompson, was murdered in the street and refused to criticize the alleged shooter. And his family? Damage. Just zero respect for human life.

Now, is it likely that some on the left will celebrate once Trump passes, what I do not see happening before he is not far from power? Of course. This disease goes in both directions. But that doesn’t do things correctly.
It was Bill Clinton, during his dismissal against Monica Lewinsky, who accused his opponents of “the policy of personal destruction”. And this was used against the presidents who followed him. It is a disease that says that human beings do not count, only winning at all costs.

Luts note: Biden’s announcement caused just as sad news from Scott Adams, the brilliant creator “Dilbert” and the conservative and pro-Trump voice that hosts a morning coffee for subscribers:
“Well, I decided today the day I will take the opportunity – since many of you are here – to make an announcement of mine.
“My life expectancy is … maybe summer. I expect to check this field this summer.”
What a tragedy.
