Local deputy Jim McMahon lost his job as Minister of Local Governments following a reshuffle of the best jobs of Prime Minister Keir Starmer after the release of the deputy for Ashton-Under-Lyne Angela Rayner.
Oldham West MP Chadderton and Royton was appointed Minister of State to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government in July of last year, but yesterday (Saturday) Downing Street announced that he had left the government.
A declaration by Mr. McMahon said: “I had a wonderful experience in my role as Minister of State who embarked on the compensation of local communities, decontance in England and work for a boss like Angela Rayner was really empowering and fulfilling,
“I will never forget the confidence and the confidence she has placed in me.
“Now it’s time to make a new start.
“The workers have been exploited and their efforts have been mistreated for too long.
“Silent compliance and be invited to work on milling and playing according to the rules without going through life have followed its course. It is obvious.
“The Labor Government must recognize that any policy is the family and the community.”
The press release added: “I wish everyone the Ministry of Housing, Communities and the Local Government and the Better Local Government the best for the future, you are all incredible and the country is fortunate to have you.”
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has reshuffled by his junior ministers, including an upheaval at home office.
