Josh Bell struck a three-point circuit in the ninth round of Washington in five rounds and the Washington National Visit Nationals gathered for a 6-3 victory against the Chicago Cubs in the rubber match of a series of three games on Sunday.
Chicago led 3-1 in the ninth before Daniel Palencia (1-6) allowed Robert Hassell III. After the following two strikers have reached safely, Bell dominated Palencia’s first offer to advance the Nationals.
Palencia went out with an apparent injury and was replaced by Porter Hodge, which allowed a race when Daylen Lile scored on the double end of Brady House game.
