Despite the interest of Leicester City, Valence and PSG, where an option appeared subordinate to departures elsewhere, the French shot remains in Leeds.

Sources suggest that efforts are underway to find a solution before Meslier passes, potential destinations emerging in Turkey, Austria, Belgium, Greece, Poland, Saudi Arabia and Water.

According to journalist Graeme Bailey, Leeds is still looking for a solution for their goalkeeper.

“I think there are certainly some options for Meslier. Türkiye? Absolutely, yes, they are part of it.

“However, I am also told that the leeds hierarchy and the Red Bull increases use their connections and are looking for destinations for him – and his people are also working hard.

“People like Austria, Belgium, Greece, Poland, Saudi Arabia and water – there are still options for him, if he has appetite for that.”

Although the transfer window has already closed its doors in England, Leeds always seeks to unload Meslier in a country where the transfer window is always open.

After last season, it became clear that the goalkeeper has no future for Elland Road and manager Daniel Farke decided to replace him after his season subject to errors in the championship.

Formerly considered one of the best young goalkeepers in England, Meslier’s actions have dropped in recent seasons with the goalkeeper who did not find consistency.
