Here is why there is no live streaming or a television for Duleep Trophy 2025 Quarter-Final Matches

Cricket fans through India are furious after a BCCI The official confirmed that the Duleep Trophy 2025 Quarter-Finals would not be broadcast live on television or broadcast online. The decision, which refuses fans a chance to look at some of the best national stars in India in action, has aroused strong criticism and rekindled the debates around the approach of the board of directors of domestic cricket.
Why not television or live streaming from Duleep Trophy 2025 quarters?
The electricity failure stems from the BCCI broadcasting contract, which allows a fixed number of television days for Indian cricket each year. To manage this quota, only the final of the Duleep trophy (September 11-15) will be shown live.
A BCCI source said Times of India:
“The BCCI has a contract with its official broadcaster for a fixed number of cricket television days in India. These must be managed with care. Only the final of the Duleep trophy will be broadcast live on television and broadcast online. But that must improve fans from the point of view. “
This decision left frustrated supporters, especially since the tournament features have established internationals and rising stars. Many have pointed out that previous editions offered live streaming, calling for this year’s “scandalous” power failure and a “step back”. Social media has been flooded with publications requiring better access to players and fans.
All T20 national competitions are being broadcast. There are club matches in TNCA that are broadcast. Duleep Trophy is a leading national tournament. Zero streaming. It’s appalling BCCI. Indian cricket deserves better than that. #Duleeptrophy

No DULEEP trophy emission ??
All the leagues of the Xyz state and even the Gully Mohalla leagues are live on streaming applications these days, but a first BCCI domestic tournament is not…

No streaming / television of the Duleep trophy is embarrassing.
Richest board but cannot do basic things correctly 🤷

The backlash has intensified calls for BCCI to rethink its broadcasting strategy, guaranteeing fans not missing the domestic matches marked during future seasons. For many, the problem does not concern more than entertainment – it is a question of keeping the heart rate of Indian cricket in life.

The absence of coverage has also raised questions about consistency. While the T20 state leagues often appreciate live television, the first national bound-ball event in India is limited to live scores on the BCCI application and website. Critics argue that this undermines the efforts to promote national cricket of several days, which remains vital for future players in India.
