Man United midfielder KOBBIE MAINTOO, is open to leaving the club

According to athletics, Kobbie Mainoo is increasingly open to leaving Manchester United as uncertainty develops on his role under the new head coach Ruben Amorim.

The 20 -year -old English international, who burst into senior configuration with high expectations, has entered the last 24 months of his contract at Old Trafford.

Without New Deal on the table and AMORIM apparently promoting other midfielder options, the future of Mainoo is now at stake.

Mainoo had been considered one of the most brilliant perspectives to emerge from the United Academy in recent years.

However, under Amorim, his opportunities seem limited. The reports suggest that the Portuguese coach currently favors other profiles in the midfield, leaving Mainoo frustrated and uncertain of knowing where he fits into the long -term project.

In the two games of Man United in the Premier League this season, Mainoo was left on the bench and not used by the manager.

After the 1-1 draw against Fulham, Amorim clearly indicated that Mainoo is competing with Bruno Fernandes for a place in the starting line.

The situation is complicated by the lack of obvious destinations. Athletics stresses that, although Mainoo is open to a distance from Manchester, there are not many realistic contenders at the end of the transfer window.

This leaves both the player and the club in a delicate position. United risked losing one of their most talented young players for a reduction in costs if no extension is agreed, while the main risks stagnate if it remains on the margins of Amorim plans.

Unless Amorim offers insurance on his role, Mainoo can only see choice, but to seriously consider an outing, even if his options are limited for the moment.
