Trust star Billy Campbell working with Sophie Turner and her hopes for restarting Rocketeer (exclusive)

In TrustAfter a scandal, a Hollywood starlet (Sophie Turner) withdrew to a remote cabin, but she is not alone. Betrayed by the man in whom she had the most confidence, she is trapped in a brutal survival game. She can hide, but she can’t run.

The film is the very definition of an on -board thriller of your seat and sees Billy Campbell (I know what you did last summer) Play the favorite daddy sitcom of America, Peter. However, there is a darkness that is hidden below the surface, and the character of Turner, his co-star, quickly becomes the target of Peter.

We spoke with Campbell last week, and after explaining that the script of Gigi Levangie made the hairs on the back of his neck, the actor talked more about what it was to play such a hateful character.

“The most uncomfortable thing about all the experience for me was to wear a wig. I had to wear a wig to look younger in part, and all the things in the film that could be uncomfortable, it was at the top of the list there,” The actor joked. “Otherwise, it was really very fun to be able to play a character who is not who he seems to be. It’s always very fun.”

Speaking of working with Turner, added Campbell, “She is wonderful. She is absolutely wonderful. She is earth-to-earth, fun and funny. There are no tunes. We all know that the actors can be a funny group, and sometimes you have to walk on egg shells around people, but Sophie is not part of it.”

“He is an authentic and decent and fun and funny person”, “ He continued. “What could have been extremely uncomfortable was done a lot, even less because of whom she is and what she brings to the game.”

Of course, many of you will best know Campbell to play Clifford “Cliff” Secord in the classic Disney film in 1991, The Rocketeer. The plans for a restart / suite collapsed earlier this year, but the original Rocketeer remains optimistic that the franchise could possibly return to our screens.

“I would like [return]. This film was such a seminal moment of my life, and I loved it so much. I liked everything about it. I made friends for life. I was friends with Alan [Arkin] on the day of his death. Friends with Dave Stevens, who also left. I cannot say enough about it, so I am everything for a restart if someone who also likes property as much as I love it and is ready to honor Dave’s vision. I am everything for a restart. Obviously, I am too long in the tooth. Maybe they give me a cameo or something like that, I don’t know, but I would like to see it, that I was inside or not. More importantly, I would like to see it well treated and treated respectfully. “”

In the video above, Campbell tells us more about TrustBut also remembers hilarious history and rarely heard about the way he missed a role in David Lynch Dune (This involved an unfortunately timed saddle and a ruined suit).

Confidence now plays in theaters. You can watch the film’s trailer below.
