The former 36 -year -old Indian cricket national team and the Mumbai Indians (MI) Piyush Chawla have registered for the next SA20 auction.
Piyush Chawla is not the only Indian to enter the SA20 auction, because there are 12 other Indian players who will be won during the event in South Africa.

On June 6, Piyush Chawla announced his retirement from professional cricket, ending his career that lasted more than two decades. He played three tests, 25 ODI and seven T20is for India and 192 games in the Indian Premier (IPL).

Chawla represented four teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL) – Mumbai Indian (MI), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) – and have had a successful career.
The Spinner of the Legs, which was part of the T20 World Cup team from India and the winning team of the ODI World Cup, wanted to play IPL 2025 but was not sold during the auction and was recently seen in action in the world legends championship.

Piyush Chawla among 13 Indians for auction SA20
In his retirement post, Piyush Chawla said that he “would move away from the fold”, but it seems that now he has turned around and wants to play SA20 in South Africa.
With his retirement from Indian Cricket, he became eligible for playing leagues abroad and now aims to obtain an agreement in SA20, where all the teams belong to IPL Franchises.
Other than Piyush Chawla, Mahesh Ahir (Gujarat), Sarul Kanwar (Punjab), Anureet Singh Kathuria (Delhi), Nikhil Jaga (Rajasthan), Mohamed Faidh (state not mentioned), Ks Naveen (Tamil Nadu), Marlyply (not mentioned state), Atul Yadav (Upca) Siddartha Kaul (Punjab) and Ankit Rajpoot are part of the list that will be cut Cricbuzz.
Chawla has set its base price of 1,000,000 rands, while the other Indians have a basic price of 200,000 rands, except Imran Khan, which has a basic price of 500,000 rands.
In particular, the current coach of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Dinesh Karthik, is the only player in India to have presented so far in SA20.
40 Pakistani players register for the SA20 auction
The auction of players of season 4 of the SA20 will be held in Johannesburg on Tuesday September 9, and a total of 784 players signed up for the event.
Among these, a total of 40 Pakistani players signed up for auction, notably Azam Khan, Imam-Ul-Haq, Abrar Ahmed and Saim Ayub. 150 England players also registered with the event.
For the next SA20 auction, the teams received a salary ceiling of 41 million rands to spend on players, and it is the highest wage ceiling of League T20 outside India. In addition, each team has 19 players of players in their final team, including a Joker.
