Microsoft cannot still say how much the Xbox Ally X ally will cost due to “macroeconomic” conditions, despite the announcement of the details of the release date and availability

Microsoft has confirmed the date of exit and availability for the Rog Xbox Ally and Rog Xbox Ally X, its next game computers made by Asus, but have particularly kept confirming how much the devices will cost.

Addressing IGN today in Gamescom, Microsoft and Asus said that companies still need “more time to understand the macro-economic impact on prices”. The declaration comes in a context of frequently changing market conditions, fueled by constantly evolving American rates.

The decision to confirm the release date widely scheduled for October 16 Xbox Ally X, but simultaneously, the sharing of prices details is a major surprise, following several reports from the reliable retail site of the office which seemed to pin the price of the dollar and the euro for the Rog Xbox Ally X and its Twin at low power, the Rog Xbox Ally.

These reports correctly indicated the release date of pocket computers, now confirmed on October 16, adding to their legitimacy, while declaring that pre -orders would open today, on August 20, once the launch details were public. Obviously, with the final prices now left in the air, pre -orders were left live another day.

“This is always a challenge,” said Jason Ronald, Microsoft vice-president of Xbox game devices and the ecosystem, answering an IGN question in a round table interview “, and you always try to find the right balance between accessibility and the price, and I think in particular in a mobile factor that also adds dimensions such as the life of the battery.

“I think we will have to … We need more time to understand the macroeconomic impact on prices, and that is why we will share later, in September and October,” added the main vice-president of the Asus, Shawn Yen, speaking to IGN.

Dealabs previously said that the ROG Xbox Ally X would cost € 899, while the Ally Rog Xbox Ally would cost € 599. Today, a new Dealabs update said that American pocket computers are 899 $ 899 and $ 549 respectively. Time will tell us if these prices end up moving before Microsoft announces them itself.

Officially, Xbox has confirmed that Rog Xbox Ally and Rog Xbox Ally X will arrive on October 16 in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, China (Italy, Ireland, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Mexi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey United Kingdom, United States and Vietnam.

Details on availability in Brazil, India, Indonesia and Thailand will follow on a later date, as are the details of the Xbox ally (rather than the arrival of the ally X) in China “at the beginning of next year”.

As part of the same interview, we also questioned Ronald on the internal levels of Microsoft to make a first -party Xbox pocket computer, following a report suggesting that the idea had been sidelined.
