Season 2 of “ Andor ”: the original scenario of Tony Gilroy and the Episode 9 script available online

With Andor Emmy campaign of season 2 in progress, we look behind the curtain and see how magic was born. As part of the push to obtain an Emmy victory in Dan Gilroy for his script “Welcome to the Rebellion”, Disney published the final online post-production project. In addition, we also have access to Tony Gilroy’s full outline for the second season, including how he saw the different character arcs when he launched it in Lucasfilm.

Dan Gilroy is nominated in the best writing category for dramatic series for his episode 9 script (check it here). The most memorable moment of the episode could be my Mothma’s speech in the Senate after the Ghorman massacre and its subsequent exit from the building. He also brought the long -awaited meeting between Cassian Andor and my Mothma, and prepared the field for the last three episodes of the season, which did not fuck any punch.

Andor Season 2 Pitch

A quick summary of the next twelve episodes.

Our framework? Consider it as a novel in two parts. We do twelve other episodes to wrap the second half of the story.

The only line? Andor is a story of adventure on the rise of a galactic revolution, told through the journey of a person who goes up to an epic destiny.

When we will come back for season two, a year has passed since the riot on Ferrix and Cassian’s Take-Me-Or-Kill-Me Ultimatum in Luthen. It is now at the forefront of Luthen’s spear, and we will realize how ambitious the network has and how much Cassian has already changed.

Cassian & Bix. We let go. A passionate, complex and real love between two people who have orbit around their whole lives and are ready to meet together. We saw the power of their connection in the first season. We will look into this now. They deserve a relationship worthy of the ingredients.

No one this season is exempt from sacrifice. Bix will face her deepest dilemma as she feels the strange traction of Cassian’s fate. In Bloc No. 3, they will meet a “force of force” which will instantly consist of its aura. Cassian cannot escape quickly enough, but the meeting resonates for Bix. She can’t help but replay the miracles of Cassian’s trip and wonder “and if the need for Cassian galaxy is more important than hers?”

In the end, she will make him go – she will force herself to repel him. She feels what is coming. It is an epic and terribly sad decision. But there will be (spoiler) a ray of sunshine at the very end.

There is another romance in season two. Debra & Syril. We will find them to live together. Their relationship will not be less complicated.

ISB director Krennic will order Dedra to abandon her pursuit of “AXIS” (Luthen) to take charge of a horrible program to prepare the Ghorman planet for a complete annihilation.

Ghorman, without everyone, except a very few imperial conspirators, is the only source of a mineral essential to the operation of the Death Star. If alternatives are not developed in time, Ghorman will have to be destroyed.

Taking Ghorman will not be easy.

Syril was more and more curious to know why his girlfriend is not more interested in this progress of counterinsurgency, and has completely made its doors to discover that he has nothing more than a tool for the Emperor’s “energy program”.

It is a toxius, last-minute Breke-up that will send Syril into the thickness of the riot of Ghhorman Plaza when the first strokes are fired. All beliefs have been ransacked – his wife – his values – his respect for the Empire. He wandered dazed, while the massacre explodes around him.

And then he will see Cassian Andor …

Syril will die in Ghorman. He will be celebrated as a martyr.

The Ghorman massacre is the canonical red line of my Mothma. It is this event that encourages him to stand in the Senate room. She will denounce the emperor and will be forced to flee.

We will be there. The last episode of block n ° 3 will take place in Coruscant the day after the massacre. Lease organna orchestra the policy that brings the mon on the podium. She will give a burning speech of the barn and will escape Coruscant with someone she has never met – Cassian Andor.

Unfortunately, while it joins the growing rebel alliance, Luthen’s exile will become more and more striking. Kleya will carry the weight of this injustice. Cassian will ignore the sound of his controversial mentor and break up to obtain rumors of Kyber Crystal and Galen Erso.

Their sacrifices, like so many of our characters, will be epic.
