– Harte Prep Middle School in the south of the
– Cortines visual school & Show arts
– Victory boulevard Elementary and Steam Magnet in North Hollywood

LAPD alerted a case of activity and information on others came from community partners, added the superintendent.

“We have activated our protocols and we quickly informed schools as well as the labor market, and each member of the family who has children enrolled in our school system,” said Carvalho.

Despite the activity, Carvalho said there was no need for locking on these campuses and that there was no impact on attendance.

To alleviate fears or apprehension of the immigration raids in progress, Carvalho said that the district had had thousands of conversations with parents before the first day of the school.

This occurs after an 18 -year -old student at Reseda Charter High School was placed in police custody by federal immigration agents last week.

On Monday, a 15 -year -old boy was arrested by federal agents outside Arleta high school but was then released.
