Liverpool is in pole position to sign Alexander Isak this summer, although it is far from certain that he is moving in the coming weeks. Newcastle is determined to keep their star attacker, but if they sold, there is no doubt that they would like him to join a premier league rival – which could end up being the case.

Recent reports that suggest that Liverpool loses patience in their pursuit of Isak, which they want to sign before Newcastle next Monday in their next first League force test. However, other complications could now abound for reigning champions.

Richard Keys has now declared to Bein Sports (via Nufc Feed) that Real Madrid was ready to participate in the race for Isak, although it has also revealed that Liverpool is now ready to pay 140 million pounds Sterling to conclude an agreement with Newcastle.

“I have heard today that Liverpool had made an offer … A second offer of 80 million pounds Sterling now and 60 million pounds Sterling next season. But I also heard that Real Madrid could be in the context. ”

It was largely reported that Newcastle wanted at least 150 million pounds to sell Isak this summer, but since it has now been on strike to force a move to Liverpool, there could be a feeling in St James’ Park that 140 million pounds sterling could be sufficient for the green light to be given for the Swedish international to go to Anfield.

It remains to be seen how this tense situation is resolved. Liverpool is very eager to envelop the signature of Isak as soon as possible, and if it can be done in the coming days, it is likely that he faces his old club in St James’ Park – and if that happens, it would certainly be a very toxic atmosphere.
