I am the type of person who plans all my trips around food experiences, therefore to visit “monuments” generally revolves around emblematic restaurants, food rooms, markets … You get the photo. The only place where I went to the South is New Orleans, and even if I am a little blurred on the details of the different trips themselves – too many haunty slopes and bourbon cocktails – my sensory memory of food remains clearly clear: creamy grains, smoked partitions, rich serious and a plethora of soft and sweet desserts.
