My teammates are sad that I have to go

Kevin de Bruyne reiterated his conviction that he can still cut him in the Premier League and said his teammates were sad that he “had to” leave Manchester City.
The Belgian scored the only goal this evening while City went third with a hard-competed and somewhat strong victory over the Wolves in what should be Bruyne’s penultimate match at the Etihad stadium after the club has chosen not to offer him a new contract.
He launched the adulation of the house fans at the final whistle with a slow walk around the field, but later insisted that he was trying not to become emotional about his imminent departure.
He told Sky Sports: “I’m just trying to play as well as possible. I have a game here, but I’m just trying to do my job as I have always done.”
“I have a match here, I’m proud of what I’m doing.”

The teammates do not want Bruyne
De Bruyne said that he had also received a lot of love in the locker room, adding: “Many teammates told me about. I think they said I have to go, but sometimes it goes like that in life.
“The way I play and act like a good teammate, that’s how everyone should be. I want to win the games.”
De Bruyne was linked to a move to the United States – Chicago Fire was the last MLS club to be mentioned this morning – but the 33 -year -old thinks he can still play in the English elite.
“I have shown that I can still play here [in England]”He said.” Otherwise, I don’t think I could do what I have done in the past four or five weeks. »»

We find a little groove – from Bruyne
Tonight’s victory was the fifth consequence of City in all competitions, but was not without touch of fortune, wolves in shape striking the woodwork twice through Rayan Ait-Nouri and Matheus Cunha.
“It was a difficult match,” said Bruyne. “We know that it was a difficult year, but we find a little groove and we win the matches we need to win for the moment, so hope we can end the season like that.
“Now we can just relax a bit and see what other teams are doing this weekend.”
