Golfer Liv Sergio Garcia shared his support for the European Ryder Cup team after his dominant departure. The biennial tournament started on Friday, September 26, with its first day games.

The Spaniard, which is worth $ 70 million (according to the net value of celebrities), has experienced a legendary race in the Ryder Cup in the past. He represented Team Europe in 1999, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2021, marking 28.5 points in the process. However, the team was excluded this year.

Team Europe, which are reigning champions and play on foreign soil this week, took the lead at the start of the game and had a dominant start. They won three of their quartet games and two four -ball games.

Sergio Garcia applauded his team and shared a message on his X account (formerly Twitter). He congratulated them for their impressive start and wrote:

“Wow !! @RYDERCUPEROPE”

In the Friday Foursome, Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton of the Europe team played against Bryson Dechambeau and Justin Thomas and won 4 and 3. In the next match, Ludvig Åberg and Matt Fitzpatrick beat Scottie Scheffler and Russell Henley.

Rory McILroy and Tommy Fleetwood won Collin Morikawa and Harris English. The only match team we won was Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantlay, who won 2 against Robert Macintyre and Viktor Hovland.

Even during the four Friday ball match, Team Europe was fabulous. Jon Rahm, joined by Sepp Straka, played against Scheffler and Jj Spaun and won 3 and 2. In the next match, Fleetwood and Justin Rose beat Ben Griffin and Dechambeau.

However, Cameron Young and Thomas of the American team won a match against Åberg and Rasmus Højgaard, while the final oven match between Sam Burns-Patrick Cantlay and Rory McILroy-Shane Lowry resulted in equality.

Although he did not do the team, Sergio Garcia shared an article supporting the Europe team on his X account (formerly Twitter) before the Ryder Cup. He shared some photos of return from the team with a legend that reads as follows:

“Tomorrow begins which, in my opinion, is the best tournament in our sport, @rydercup. I look forward to watching and encouraging @rydercuperie when they defend the cup. I hope to be part of the team in the future! # Goeteammeurope💙💛🇪🇺”

Tomorrow starts which, in my opinion, is the best tournament in our sport, @rydercup. I can’t wait to watch and encourage @Rydercuperope As they defend the cup. I hope to be part of the team in the future again! # Goteameurope💙💛🇪🇺

Sergio Garcia expected to play in the Ryder Cup this year. However, he had trouble qualifying for the event and was not selected by the team captain Luke Donald. In an exclusive interview with Golf Magic, Garcia spoke of his disappointment.

“I felt like I was looking forward to being part of this team, and so I felt mentally, you know, mentally, it was a bit difficult,” he said.

Meanwhile, this season on Liv golf, Garcia won the Hong Kong event and came in third solo to Liv Golf Miami. In the majors, he was tied at the 67th at the PGA and T34 championship at the open championship. However, he missed the Masters Cup and failed to qualify for the US Open.
