Friends Star remembers Matthew Perry’s “gentleman” reaction to his wardrobe incident

Friends The Alun Paget Brewster shared an unforgettable memory by working opposite Matthew Perry in the successful sitcom, highlighting the “gentleman” behavior of the deceased actress.
Brewster, better known for its role as a FBI profileur Emily Prentiss on the longtime police drama Criminal minds and its current restart Criminal Minds: Evolutionplayed in Friends As Kathy, the brief FLING of Chandler, which he flies to Joey (Matt Leblanc) in season four.
Talk to The independent In a new interview, the Blow Star recalled when Perry invited her to return home to play a basketball game to kill time between the scenes.
“I remember that we had one day when Matthew and I did not go to be in scenes for about three hours. And so he said, “Hey, do you want to go?” Do you want to go and play basketball with me? It’s just Mulholland [Drive in Los Angeles]. And I said to myself: “Of course, let’s go – I’m going to play basketball at home”, said Brewster.
“It was in her pool … and we throw hoops, and I was carrying a pair of his shorts and my bra,” she said, clarifying that he was completely innocent. “He was dressed. I was dressed, but I threw a shot, and my bra slipped, and Matthew – I laugh – and he looks at me, and he [puts his hand over his eyes] And said, “You are, you must, you may want to take a look at it.”
She remembered that Perry was “such a gentleman and a darling” after the accident. “He was really an adorable guy. And I’m really happy to have read his book before his death,” added Brewster, referring to Perry’s heartbreaking memories in 2022, Friends, lovers and the great great thing.

“It is definitely missed,” she said.
Perry was 54 years old when he was found dead in his house in Los Angeles in October 2023 of an overdose of ketamine.
While Perry had followed ketamine therapy for anxiety and depression, American lawyer Martin Estrada, who supervised the case before resigning in January, allegedly allegedly allegedly received 27 doses of ketamine outside of his prescribed therapy.
Five people have since been charged as part of his death, including two doctors, his living personal assistant and an alleged drug dealer known as “the queen of ketamine”.
After the death of Perry, Brewster shared a tribute on X, writing: “I am so sad to hear about @matthewperry. He was charming with me on Friends And every time I saw him in the decades after. Please read his book. It was his heritage to help. It is not resting in peace, however. He is already too busy making everyone laugh up there.

Brewster was presented during season four of Friends As Joey’s girlfriend, Kathy, whose Chandler falls inadvertently inadvertently and ends up leaving briefly. She appeared in a total of six episodes, leaving after a jealous chandler accused Kathy of cheating, prompted them to break.
Years after his appearance in the seminal sitcom, Brewster continued to win his role of escape as a special Prentissa in season two of Criminal minds. Although he moved away from the show twice, she finally returned to the series for good in the new season, where she has stayed since.
The new season of Criminal Minds: Evolution First on May 7 on Paramount +, with episodes released each week until the final of the season on July 10.
