7 things to do in New York this weekend: August 15-17

“Umoja Black Pride Block Party”

Instead of producing its annual day on the beach in Coney Island, Lee Soulja -Simmons – who directed NYC Black Pride and was Executive Director of the NYC Center for Black Pride for over 15 years – brings the LGBTQ + celebration inside with a Harlem block party.
