6ix9ine is apparently responding to rumors that he paid to pump up streams of Nicki Minaj collaboration “Trollz.”

Tekashi 6ix9ine appears to have responded to rumors that he paid to inflate the streaming numbers of his song with Nicki Minaj, Trollz. The song, released in June 2020, achieved great success in the charts.

6ix9ine and Minaj collaborated to release Trollz, and it reached number one on the Billboard Top 100 in its first week. However, it fell to number 34 in the second week, marking the largest ever decline for a chart topper in its second week. This led to speculation that 6ix9ine, real name Daniel Hernandez, paid to inflate the song’s numbers.

In a video on Vlad TV, broadcast on October 12, Vlad asked the rapper about this, and he replied:

“I badmouthed Billboard and Nielsen so much that they tried to make me look bad. I exposed the world, that you can buy number ones, those numbers are inflated. I exposed the music industry. Right? I was delivering food in 2016, 2015…Delivering food, you think I was created in a lab? An industrial factory? I’m real, dammit.”

Vlad also asked Hernandez how much it cost to help Trollz reach number 1 in the charts, to which the rapper responded:

“Well, I don’t know, because that’s what the label says – Actually, I didn’t need to buy shit.”

Despite being asked multiple times, Hernandez has not clearly accepted or denied rumors that he paid for the song to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Top 100.

In 2020, 6ix9ine engaged in a beef with Lil Durk, real name Durk Devontay Banks. He claimed that Durk’s 2020 track, Laugh now, cry laterwas only a success because of Drake’s feature. Durk responded that Hernandez only reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top 100 for Trollz thanks to Nicki Minaj.

In an interview with Billboard, published on September 4, 2020, 6ix9ine responded to Durk’s comments by saying:

“I love this girl to death. When has Nicki ever had a number 1 until now?”

The interviewer named Say ita 2019 track by Doja Cat, remixed by Nicki Minaj. Hernández responded:

“No, no no… I love Nicki. She’s my sister. I love her to death. Give me a Nicki single that was #1. Her record.”

The interviewer admitted that Minaj hasn’t had a No. 1 solo song, to which the rapper said:

“It’s my file.”

Tekashi 6ix9ine recently claimed he will take revenge on people who attacked him in 2023

Hernandez was attacked by four men, allegedly belonging to the Latin Kings criminal gang, at the LA Fitness gym in Florida in March 2023. Police had arrested three people, two of whom signed a plea deal and charges against the third were dropped.

During a live broadcast on September 24, Hernández claimed that he would take revenge on his attackers even if he were to be sentenced to life in prison. The rapper also filed a lawsuit against the LA Fitness gym. He claimed the gym was allegedly negligent in its security measures, which led to the rapper being attacked, causing bodily harm.
