50 essential Thanksgiving recipes – Cupboard kitchen

I can hardly believe that it is already this time of year, but the holidays are on our doors starting with Thanksgiving which is celebrated next weekend in Canada! Of course, it means it is time for an overview of Thanksgiving recipe ideas! Thanksgiving is a busy cooking day from morning with a generous breakfast or brunch before moving on to snacks / aperitifs in the afternoon, then finally the large meal which is generally made up of a turkey or other roast, several sides and a dessert! What a tasty day indeed! My mouth is already thinking of all the good food! For me, the real pleasure begins the next day when it is time to start finding tasty ways to use all the remains!
The tip for a successful Thanksgiving is to have a day full of tasty food without being so overwhelmed by the kitchen that you are not lucky enough to appreciate it and that means that you have to do a little planning. Many desserts can be made several days in advance, which is a good starting point followed by the cranberry sauce and pots that can often be assembled the coming day, then baked the big day. In addition to having a kitchen the size of a cupboard, my oven is tiny and it can barely adapt to a large roasting, so forget the cooking of a pan at the same time as the turkey. I generally try to limit my sides to a pan that requires time and I have it after cooking the turkey, while it was resting and is sculpted. The next one is a simple stove, but who wants to stand up above the stove in the kitchen when you have guests, so take this slow cooker and use it! Many pots can be made in the slow cooker in addition to things like potatoes, baked potatoes, etc.
