Rock is the people’s champion and one of the most loved wrestlers in WWE history, with millions and millions of his fans after his career in the ring and Hollywood Ventures.
The 53 -year -old man is one, if not the best, of speakers in the history of professional struggle, capable of shaking his opponents with his famous slogans and his rapid mind. It is always a must, which is why its absence Wrestlemania 41 was so controversial, because it was involved in the largest scenario at the time.
The rock was exploded by several WWE names when he jumped the show of the shows to “keep the spotlight” on John Cena after his heel turn in the elimination room. While most come to admire the great legendary, five WWE wrestlers have a lot of problems with him.
Cm punk

Cody Rhodes
If there is a WWE star who has felt the anger of the rock in recent years, it’s Cody Rhodes. The American nightmare initially handed over its main event from Wrestlemania 40 to the people’s champion after winning the Royal Rumble.
It was until the fans’ reaction major leads to a change of plans and Rhodes recovered his undisputed WWE championship against Roman Reigns. The pair was in Loggerheads from there, with rock making the life of Rhodes a living hell, including the bloody in one of the most shocking finishes of an episode of Raw.
Rhodes clashed with rock in a tag team match at night, one of Wrestlemania 40, eating the spit but continuing to win the world title against Reigns. The pair exchanged words on RAW the night after and teased a match for the title, which always feels inevitable, especially after the Brahma Bull tried a temptation of the former AEW star to give him his soul and become “my champion”.
Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins echoes Cody Rhodes’ feelings about the rock trying to use his standing TKO to jump the queue and face Roman Reigns in Wrestlemania 40.
The double winner of money in the bank considered that Fox Sports that he was “rude” by seeing rock trying to take what Rhodes had won (via Wrestletalk):
“This is exactly what is happening when powerful people exercise their power. They just think they do what they want and get out of it and it sucks. It is just afraid. I don’t know any other way to say it … But Cody said it best. It’s bulls -. It’s pretty coarse for me.”
Rollins represents everything that goes against the current rock, wanting to work hard for opportunities and gaining the right to be a competitor of the world title. He is often considered the workhorse of the company, and he is not afraid to say what he thought that the past names of WWE come back for a big salary.
Randy Orton
There was a real heat between Randy Orton and the rock that extends in their time in 2004. There were backstage reports between the duo.
The Viper was only starting to start on the way to become one of the biggest WWE stars, with him and John Cena taking the stick of the stars of the Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin attitude. The pair locked the horns in the last Rocky match in Wrestlemania 20 in a tag match before Dwayne Johnson turned to a career as a Hollywood actor.
Rock’s return as guest host of Wrestlemania 27 did not go well with Orton. He gave his thoughts to ESPN on Johnson considering himself as an actor rather than a wrestler:
“You see the interviews that rock does and he says that he does not want to be known as a wrestler. He does not want to be known as a sports artist or an artist with WWE or a WWE superstar. He wants to be known as an actor.”
Orton also explained why Cena was “ten times” that the wrestler was, including on the microphone, because the big “has his business written for him”. It was a similar position given by Cena during her quarrel with Rock on the Road to Wrestlemania 28.
The predator Apex said that Rock had spoken to the former WWE president Vince McMahon, and to the head of talented relations John Laurinaitis. He said Vince was upset, but after talking to Triple H, the case was blown and rock never approached him.
Triple H (allegedly)
Rock and triple H have often exchanged jokes on WWE TV since the company merged with the UFC under the TKO umbrella. The two are active members of the board of directors and are two of the most respected names in the professional wrestling company.
This does not mean that they have a solid friendship outside the ring, and there have been indices of such tensions even on the screen. After Rock tried to take the main event of Cody Rhodes Wrestlemania 40, the drama that followed reached fever, and the viral stories of a power struggle ensued.
The first trip of Triple H, after Rhodes officially announced that he had chosen Roman Reigns at the launch of Wrestlemania 40, was revealing. He said he had reaffirmed his power to book this match while making several excavations on his longtime rival trying to do so.
The couple fought to be the company’s face in the late 90s and early 2000s, and such tension can still be intact. Jonathan Coachman, who worked in close collaboration with the two, told Sportskeeda in October 2024:
“I don’t care what you watch on television; I don’t care what you see behind the scenes; I don’t care,” Hey my brother, how are you? “” Yeah, I’m fine! Triple H and The Rock do not love each other at all. “
There were calls for a power struggle scenario between the director of Triple H content and rock to be reserved in the middle of the stories that followed during the race of the final boss. But fans will not return the king of kings in the ring after his retirement in 2022 due to health problems.
