“In the end, we expect everyone to be the best”, UO coach Dan Lanning said. “This is what we want, because this is how we are going to do our best. … You want a challenge on the part of the teams you can play, otherwise you will lose part of this level of competence because it is not necessary. So, to play at our level – what we want to look like – is really important.

“This is what I said to the guys this morning when we were about to go out to practice:” It’s about the same time we play, guys, “said Lanning earlier this week.” Our bodies are used to it. This is something we can do, it’s a little different, and we look forward to this opportunity. “”
3 and 3 A team on Saturday, however, will have had a little more time to prepare. Northwestern had one day more between games That the Ducks, while the Wildcats played on Friday of last week.
In fact, Northwestern is the second UO consecutive opponent with more time to prepare. Oklahoma State played at Stade Autzen last week after a match on Thursday the previous week, a fact that Lanning said that the Ducks had lifted with the conference.
It did not injure the Ducks last week, when they beat the cowboys. They will seek to overcome the problem in the same way this week.
4 There were not many flagrant problems for the Ducks in their dominant victory last week. But that does not mean that there was nothing to clean in practice this week.
This week, penalties were an accent pointAfter Oregon hired six last week – a certain number of them procedural pre -preduces. This could be particularly important against Northwestern, the least penalized team in the regular country since the start of the mandate of head coach David Braun in 2023.
“We are going to repair it,” said Lanning. “It was clear what we can better coach and what we can do better, but we will resolve this.”

I trained football in high school. I trained FCS football. I played Naia football. I have been in some of these environments, and if you like football, you want to play your best, whatever the crowd or the setting is.
