5 surprising similarities between the characters

The beginnings of the MCU of Ralph Ineson Galactus In Fantastic Four: First steps was epic to say the least, but it was far from the first time that the public appreciated the “nasty” presence of Ineson on their screens. The actor also played Chris Finch in the original British version of The office. While Finchy is a more earth-to-earth character than Galactus, Ineson himself made direct comparisons between Chris Finch and Galactus.

In an interview with Empire, Ineson reveals that he thinks The officeThe finch is actually worse than the eating galactus by the planet, explaining that the world eater cannot really be defined as a “evil”, but “Finchy is a good c ** t.” Ineson offers a similar perspective in an interview with The Guardian, highlighting the crucial difference:

Ralph Ineson: “At least Galactus simply exists, it is a cosmic force. It does not malignuate it. You can not really get worse that Chris Finch.”

For fans who do not know the original United Kingdom Desk (But who saw the American remake), Chris Finch was the model of Todd Packer, with his own brand of inappropriate comments, deplorable and light behavior.

Obviously, Ineson thinks that Chris Finch is so bad that it is even worse than a cosmic entity that literally eats planets and kills billions of billions just to survive. In other words, this type of comparison requires more in -depth analysis, especially with regard to All the ways that Finchy and Galactus are the same.

Galactus and Finchy are both horrible to work with

The cast of the UK office.

As the crystal is clear throughout The officeChris Finch is an absolute nightmare with which to work with. He is incredibly disrespectful towards practically everyone around him, and he is generally a pretty bad person. In fact, one of the strengths of the series is when David Brent de Ricky Gervais (the model for the United States Desk‘S Michael Scott) finally said to Finchy, “F ** K OFF“.

Overall, it is clear that Chris Finch would be a terrible colleague, and we can say so many galacti. Although there is no shortage of examples to be drawn during the prouvance that Galactus would be horrible to work with, an exceptional moment comes from Silver surfer # 48 by Jim Starlin and Ron Lim.

In the issue, he revealed that an aspect of being Herald de Galactus is the overwhelming feeling of guilt for all those who are killed by Galactus. The comic strip shows a drowning silver surfer in an ocean of blood which he helped Galactus to spread. Bad day in the office indeed.

Galactus and Finchy can both throw a kettle on a building

Although this may seem a strangely specific example, it is in fact a hilarious intrigue point in an episode of The office. In The office Episode entitled “The Quiz”, Finchy says that if the trivia game had been a launch competition, it would have beat his competition without any problem. Finch boasts that he has once launched a kettle on a building, and he proves that he is able to do exactly this by throwing a shoe on the pub where the office spent their trivial evening.

Due to the size of galactus, including and especially as he showed in Fantastic Four: First steps Where it is as tall as a skyscraper, it goes without saying that the devourer of the worlds could easily throw a kettle on a building. He doesn’t even need to prove that he can throw a shoe like Finchy did, as Galactus threw the thing in space as if it were nothing Fantastic Four: First steps.

The two characters can have their differences, but when it comes to throwing kettles (or shoes) on a building, Finchy and Galactus are also matching.

Galactus and Finchy are both absolute geniuses

Galactus performing complex experiences on his ship in Marvel Comics.

The officeDavid Brent claims that Chris Finch has an IQ of 142, declaring that Finchy reads a book per week to assert the point. For reference, everything that is above an IQ of 140 is considered to be a level of genius, which means that Chris Finch (if David must believe) is firmly in the “genius” category. Likewise, Galactus is a genius established in the Marvel universe.

In Fantastic Four # 210 by Marv Wolfman and John Byrne, the fantastic four -boards galactus ship, only to find the devotor of Worlds performing more complex experiences than Reed Richards could not even understand. It is the same Reed Richards who invented a portal to other universes and which regularly exceeds the cosmic powers.

However, even Reed could not look at the complexities of Galactus intelligence, confirming how intelligent Galactus is.

Galactus and Finchy both make many trips

Galactus is seated in his ship with planets and surprises through the window behind him.

Like his American counterpart, Todd Packer, Chris Finch is a traveling sales representative The office. The work of Finchy literally moves from one place to another on behalf of the company for which he works. You could even say that traveling is the way Finchy survives, because it guarantees his job, which means that he has money to live. Quite funny, Galactus travels for a very similar reason.

As explained in Marvel comics and MCUs Fantastic Four: First stepsThe cosmic goal of Galactus is to travel through the world of the planet to the planet, consuming worlds wherever it goes. Galactus must do it to feed his endless hunger and survive.

It is no different from traveling for work, because a paid job keeps food on the table for people like Chris Finch as the planets consumed for galactus does.

Galactus and Chris Finch look strangely similar

Divided image of Chris Finch de Ralph Ineson from the office and galactus of Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Although decidedly despicable below, Chris Finch looks like a daily worker. Finchy is the kind of person you would see stuck in traffic or promenade in town, that’s why it is so incredible that someone like Finch is a dead ringtone for a cosmic entity like Galactus. Really, the live version of Galactus and The officeChris Finch looks alike!

Under the seriousness, this similarity is not too shocking since Chris Finch and Galactus are played by the same actor, Ralph Ineson. Although it is mentioned that Galactus does not always look like a human in a mechanical costume. The form of galactus changes according to the form of the life that looks at it. Galactus looks like a humans for humans because humans are those who perceive it.

And, in this case, the human form Galactus takes looks strangely similar to The officeChris Finch, who is only one of the many ways, including the two characters of Ralph Ineson are the same.
