5 foods that could age you prematurely, according to experts

As you get older, the foods you eat can have a significant impact on the health of your skin and how young it looks. Certain types of food and drinks are perfect for the health of your skin, while other types of food and drinks can speed up visible signs of aging, such as wrinkles, dull skin and inflammation.

Eating too much sugar and refined carbohydrates leads to glycation, a chemical reaction that occurs when sugars are attached to proteins and create final advanced glycation products (ages).

Processed and fried foods, such as Bretzels, fries, hot dogs and cold meats, are enemies of the skin because they can trigger age production and cause inflammation.

“Processed foods have fewer vitamins, nutrients and antioxidant capacity, which we need to repair wounds, build collagen, maintain our immune system, support the skin barrier function and maintain hydrated skin”, Kseniya Kobets, MD, MHS, FAAD, a dermatologist certified in the Council Health.

A large survey has revealed that the frequent consumption of alcohol is associated with the aging of the face.   • Unwelling green tea: Instead of sugary drinks, Cassetty recommends non -sweet green tea because it contains polyphenols that can improve hydration, skin elasticity and texture.
  • Healthy fats: Cassetty also recommends consuming healthy fats such as extra virgin olive oil and omega-3 fatty acids of plants and fish. “These healthy fats can help reduce oxidative stress, preserve collagen and support smoother and healthier skin,” she said.
  • Nut: Instead of fried snacks such as fleas, Cassetty recommends nuts provided by antioxidants. Nuts contain anti-inflammatory compounds that can help protect skin cells from visible signs of aging.
  • Bays: Instead of snacks loaded with sugar and refined carbohydrates, the kobets recommend fruit such as berries. Not only are these rich in fibers rich in fiber, but the berries are rich in vitamin C supported by collagen and polyphenols, which promote skin hydration and protected against skin inflammation.
